Summer Lesson and Guiding FAQs and Booking Terms

The following outlines Rhythm Japan’s (owned and operated by Rhythm & Beats.co. Ltd.) Privacy Policy for the website.

Frequently asked questions

There are two Futures programs running through the 2026 summer season:

  • Futures Skate - Group lessons for ages 6–12 at Rhythm Hirafu Skate Park. Three time slots every Saturday from 20 June to 27 September.

  • Futures MTB - Cycling and bike sessions for ages 3–14 at Rhythm Hirafu. Three program groups run every Sunday from 21 June to 27 September.

MTB runs across three groups based on age and ability:

  • Mini Futures Strider (ages 3–5) - 8:30–10:00am

  • Mini Futures Pedal Bike (ages 3–5) - 10:30am–12:00pm

  • Futures MTB (ages 6–14) - 1:30–4:30pm

  • Futures Skate (Group Lesson): ages 6–12

  • Mini Futures Strider and Pedal Bike: ages 3–5

  • Futures MTB: ages 6–14

Both programs welcome beginners through to intermediate riders and skaters. Participants are grouped with others of the same or similar ability - children of significantly different levels are not placed in the same group. This ensures every child receives coaching appropriate to where they are in their progression.

To ensure every participant gets the most from their session, groups must be made up of riders or skaters of the same or similar ability level. If you're unsure which group is right for your child, contact our team before booking.

Booking & Pricing FAQS

Each program offers three options:

Drop-in - available on the day, walk-in only. No advance booking is required or accepted for drop-in. Subject to remaining spots in the class.

8-Session Pass - our recommended option for families who plan to attend regularly. Gives you 8 pre-booked sessions at a reduced per-session rate. Sessions are booked individually through iClassPro and must be reserved by 1:00pm the day before each session.

Season Pass - grants access to one session per week in a fixed time slot for the full season. Our best-value option per session, with limited spots available per class. Every Season Pass holder also receives a complimentary 1-hour group lesson in the other Futures discipline - a Skate Season Pass includes a free MTB lesson, and an MTB Season Pass includes a free skate lesson.

Season Passes and 8-Session Passes are purchased through our website and session booking is managed through iClassPro. Once purchased, Season Pass holders are assigned a fixed weekly time slot. 8-Session Pass holders log in to iClassPro to book individual sessions as they wish throughout the season.

Drop-in guests do not need to book in advance - simply arrive at the desk at least 15 minutes before the session start time and our team will confirm availability.

Sessions must be booked in iClassPro by 1:00pm the day before. Bookings cannot be made after this time.

Yes, if you're paying the drop-in rate. Drop-in spots are available on the day subject to remaining capacity in each session. Arriving at least 15 minutes before the start time gives you the best chance of securing a spot. If a class is full, our team can help you purchase an 8-Session Pass and book into a future session.

8-Session Pass and Season Pass holders who have pre-booked their session are guaranteed a spot. Drop-in is subject to availability on the day and cannot be reserved in advance.

Class sizes are kept intentionally small:

  • Futures Skate: maximum 6 per group (2 instructors per group)

  • Mini Futures Strider and Pedal Bike: maximum 4 per coach

  • Futures MTB: maximum 6 per coach

Yes. To maintain class quality and ensure availability for 8-Session Pass and drop-in guests, Season Passes are capped per class. Once a class reaches its cap, Season Passes will no longer be available for that program. We recommend purchasing early if you're planning to commit to the full season.

Season Pass FAQs

Your Season Pass gives your child a guaranteed spot in one session per week at a fixed time slot, chosen at the time of purchase. Sessions run every Saturday (Skate) or Sunday (MTB) for the full season - no need to book individual sessions.

The Season Pass covers the full season of the selected programme:

  • Futures Skate: 15 sessions (Saturday 20 June – Saturday 27 September)

  • Futures MTB: 15 sessions (Sunday 21 June – Sunday 27 September)

Missed sessions are not transferable, credited, or refunded unless the session is cancelled by Rhythm Rides. The Season Pass reserves your child's spot each week - if you can't make it, the spot simply isn't used that week.

Every Season Pass holder receives one complimentary 1-hour group lesson in the other Futures discipline. Book this directly with our Guest Services team. The lesson is valid within the current season and must be used by 27 September 2026.

8-Point Pass FAQs

Once purchased on our website, you log in to iClassPro and book your sessions individually as and when suits you throughout the season. Sessions must be booked by 1:00pm the day before. You can spread your 8 sessions across the season as you wish, within the program's operating dates.

The 8-Session Pass is valid within the current season only. Unused sessions do not carry over to the following season.
