Rhythm Rides isn't your standard ski school. We provide everything from private lessons to seasonal development programs and children's lessons. Our team of instructors come from all around the world and are highly certified. They can instruct in a variety of languages, and are selected for their skills, experience, and extensive knowledge of Japans resorts. Simply put, they're the best in the game.

Our expert team will work with you to curate the perfect experience for you and your group or family.
Our children's lessons beat anything any other ski-school has to offer. We run a three day program where children aged 7-14 are grouped based on their age and level. They stay with the same instructor and group for all three days to allow them to find connection and deepen the love and appreciation for snow-sports.

The following terms and conditions apply to the Early Bird promotion running from June 1st to - July 31st, 2026.
- 20% off Rhythm Rides bookings of 3 days or more
- Applies to: full-day lessons, 4-hour AM lessons, guiding, and the 3-day kids program
- Book by 31 July, 2026
- Blackout dates: 20th December - 2nd January & 5th - 14th February

Absolutely, please check our skills guide that assigns you a level based on your current ability, potential group goals & the terrain accessed for each level. If you still require assistance please contact our guest services team at rides@rhythmjapan.com.
It is important to know that your instructor or guide will always pay the most attention to the person with the least experience or the youngest participant. To ensure the safety of each group, there can be no more than two ability levels in difference between lesson participants. For example levels two and three could take a lesson together, but levels three and five could not.
No. All of our Winter Lessons and Programs are single disciplined focused only - so you will have to book separately.
We are passionate about introducing children to skiing and snowboarding young. However, due to the physical and developmental differences between young children and adults we are unable to cater to a combined lesson. You are, however, welcome to watch your child enjoy their first day. We recommend that you do so at a distance, this will allow your little one to bond with their instructor and enjoy their day without distractions.
For children 6 and under we recommend the following maximum lesson sizes:
5-6 years old - 3 children max
4 years old - 2 children max
3 years old - 1 child max
*We do not offer lessons for children under 3 years old.
- Up until 7 days prior, a full refund will be provided for any reason.
- From 7 days prior until 48 hours prior a 20% cancellation fee will be incurred.
- Within 48 hours a 100% cancellation fee will occur.
- No compensation can be made for the loss of lesson time due to injury or illness if the lesson has commenced.
- Upon receipt of a valid medical certificate. A reschedule or refund of future lessons can be made.
- We must be advised before your new lesson has commenced.
- We must receive the report within 24 hours of the cancelled lesson.
We reserve the right to cancel any reservations that do not meet our booking terms or have not been paid by the due date.
